Construction of the Sagrada Familia began in 1882, and Antoni Gaudí dedicated 40 years of his life to the project until his death in 1926.

The brilliant Catalan architect managed to combine architecture, poetry, religion, botany, and astronomy. Built as an expiatory temple, the Sagrada Familia has been financed exclusively through private donations from the beginning, a tradition that continues today thanks to the contributions of countless admirers of Gaudí’s masterpiece.

Mabelux Technic’s involvement in the works of this basilica—an emblem of the city of Barcelona and declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2005—has so far consisted of bending Janisol Arte stainless steel profiles by Jansen.
